One woman complains, "My husband never seems to have any time for me! He doesn't want to do anything with me these days."

Unfortunately sometimes women can loose sight of that fact that men don't always enjoy doing the types of things that we enjoy - so ask your self what is it that you are wanting him to do?

For example, I used to love to go shopping at Hobby Lobby or Michael's Craft Store. But my husband would rather have a root canal than walk into one of those kinds of stores. If I invited him to go to Home Depot, however, he'd be all about that!

One of my favorite restaurants in East Texas is called the Potpourri House. It is a sweet little gift shop with all these candles and perfumes and frilly stuff every where. Sadly, Greg hates going to that restaurant for all the same reasons that I love it! But if I ask him to take me to Outback Steakhouse, well, he's all about that.

So you get the idea - maybe just ask him to do something that is a little more suited to his taste. Instead of asking him to watch the latest Oprah episode with you, ask if he would like to watch the latest NBA All Star Game. I can't imagine he'd turn you down.

Or maybe the two of you can work up a compromise. Tell him, "If you'd be willing to go on a one hour walk-and-talk with me, I'd be willing to take a hot shower with you afterward!" I'll bet that will inspire him to put on his walking shoes and join you for some quality time together!
