Tracy,

You rock. I think you've grabbed the essence of what Shannon has been sharing about being creative, and I know I would be thrilled and shocked if my wife did something like this for me.

Last year I went to his work place and filled his car with red and pink balloons. Each balloon had a paper inside of it with a compliment, sexy note or remember when (something seductive we did). I think it took about 50 balloons. On the outside of the car I put an envelope with a note and a pin in it. The note said "pop each balloon to find the many things I love about you." Of course it took some time but I think he loved it as other people from work were watching him work his way into the car.

This year I had a business card made. I took on a new name and played the part of a professional lover. I created a new e-mail account which was on the card. The morning he went to work I left them every where. We then spent the whole day e-mailing through the new address (of course I went into GREAT detail of all the x-rated things I was going to do to him. We made a meeting date the following Monday at 3pm. I turned my basement into my apartment. I made a bed and brought 3 lamps down to put red bulbs in. I hung a white sheet up with a spot light behind to do a shadow triptease. After the striptease I came out in my new lingerie (RED, and something really different from what I usually wear) and proceeded to lap dance, pole dance etc. I carefully chose my seductive music and he loved it!!!! It was a ton of work to plan it all and think it through but I know he still carries the business cards around.
Success!!!!

Something fun is to make a mix-cd of a bunch of love songs, but include sexy songs that you can dance to in front of him! My man LOVES this! :)

I have been with my boyfriend for almost a year (one more week to go) and since we're long distance I've been mailing him kiddy valentines in the mail every couple days leading up to Valentines day. Just putting notes in there telling him what about him I'm thankful for and including a scripture that corresponds with the thought. That's as far as I've thought but I know he REALLY appreciates words of affirmation so that's what I've been focusing on so far.

Being single now, i have celebrated valentines by showing my love to my children especially my daughter whom lives with me often buying her a special Valentines bear or somthing but this year im planning to write letters to my children and to my grandchildren (g/children can read them when they are older) its a way for me to express my love and special things about just them and what they mean to me... for me valentines now is celebrating my love for my 4 Children and 4 grandkids, and my son in law. Though this love is shown ALL year but just makes Valentines day a little special for them and me.

Sometimes we think men don't like hearts and decorations. But last year my husband was gone on a 9 day business trip near Valentine's Day. So the kids and I got a bunch of big spongy flat hearts from Walmart, some sparkly fish stickers, some jewels, and some glitter puffy paint. We spent the week decorating about 30 of them. I helped the kids with there I love you daddy ones, and I made mine more personal. Like...Your hot, or I am so thankful for all you do. And at the end of the week I hung them all over the living room ceiling for him to come home to. I did not really think that it would be that big of a deal to him, but he has mentioned it on a few different occasions. Bottom line. Men like to feel appreciated. No matter how silly it may seem, it makes them beam! :)

Last year for Valentines day I made my husband a home-made gift of "coupons" redeemable only in our house. One was for a massage, one was for a hot bath together, one was for a fun night out, one was for a fun night in.. and then I laminated them so they could be re-usable! The neat thing about these is they're 100% customizable and totally cost-effective!

Each of you could generate a list of crazy things you'd love to do whilst here on this beautiful earth. For something fun just start a casual conversation about it and investigate. You both have to be specific with what you want to do e.g. hot air balloon ride, sky diving, diving with sharks, riding an elephant and every now and then randomly pick something from his list for valentines day or Chrissy or a Birthday and do it together! Lots of fun and creates memories forever.

I think it would be fun to be a little childish. Play Twister or Charades and laugh until you cry. Sometimes it's when you are doing the simplest things that you have the most fun.
